The Festival of Motorsport 2022 Report

Saturday 18th and Sunday 19th June 2022 saw Brooklands celebrating the opening of the race track with the Festival of Motorsport.
The weekend got off to a good start with action on the Mercedes-Benz World track. It's always great fun watching the cars take on the MB World track! After the cars had completed their track attempts, it was back to Brooklands to admire the wonderful cars on display and tuck in to some food at the Paddock.
Although the weather wasn't perfect, Sunday was an action-packed day, with driving tests and the pride of ownership, concours events going on. It was brilliant watching the cars pre and post war attempting the course set out for them on the Brooklands track and of course watching the challenge that is Test Hill! After all the excitment was over, it was time to award the winners their trophies - congratulations to all who won, very well deserved!
The highlight of the weekend was seeing all the different cars and how they took on the challenges of the Mercedes-Benz World track and the Brooklands track - and of course seeing them revel in the challenge of Test Hill.
