Brooklands Museum supports learning outside the classroom through a range of workshops, tours, activity days and resources that will inspire and engage nursery groups and Reception.

Admission Charges
The general admission price per pupil is £5. One adult FREE per two pupils.
Prices for individual workshops quoted below are in addition to the General Admission price.
Explore our collection of cars, bicycles, aircraft and more in your own time.
If you would like to book a self-guided visit, without any additional workshops or guided tours, your group will be charged a General Admission fee of £7. Workshops and guided tours are an additional cost per class of up to 32 pupils.

Learn by doing, your class is invited to work with us to make their very own car from craft materials. We'll learn the key parts of a motor car, including tyres, body, and engine, before racing their car to test its design.

A tour which includes fighter jets, cargo aircraft, passenger jets and floatplanes, this is a favourite for Key Stage 1 audiences. Find out about the materials and designs needed to enable flight - from the bamboo of early flying craft to the aluminium and composite exterior of Concorde.
Teachers can book a walkthrough on Concorde for an additional £40 per class.

Beginning with our collection of old bicycles and Penny Farthings, as well as visiting a Formula 1 racing car, come with us on a journey to find out just how varied the materials we use to build land transport can be. Learn what materials work best, and how land transport has changed over the years. Tour concludes on the original Brooklands racing circuit.
